The next Industry Spotlight we will be focusing on preparing and auditioning with monologues with Caroline Thomas, acting teacher\/Artistic Director of the Total Theatre Lab on March 17th, 6-9PM.<\/p>\n

I had the pleasure of working with Caroline in the past when I had auditioned for HBO\u2019s Bored To Death. It was for a role I felt didn\u2019t come easily for me, and her coaching got me through 3 callbacks!<\/p>\n

Caroline will work individually with participants on how to conquer a challenging monologue and\/or prepare a monologue for auditions, followed by a circle discussion and Q & A session.<\/p>\n

To RSVP as a Participant (Only if you can commit to coming on March 17th):
\nTo be an active-participate in this workshop please send your headshot and resume to info@aafilmlab.org. by March 10th with any questions for the Q&A, and preference for the following choices:<\/p>\n

a.) bring in a memorized monologue for coaching.<\/p>\n

b.) bring in a new un-memorized monologue that interests or challenges you, that you\u2019d like to try for auditioning.<\/p>\n

c.) working on new materials provided by Caroline. Those choosing this option must submit a brief personal description of themselves along with pic\/resume.<\/p>\n

Please put: \u201cCAROLINE MONOLOGUE March 17th\u201d in the subject line. Limited to 15 participants. We will confirm your session with details.<\/p>\n

This workshop is open to both active participants and non-participants.<\/p>\n

To offset costs of maintaining our services to our community, and in the aid of securing a permanent home for the AAFilmLab, we will be accepting donations. The suggested donation is $3.00 – $5.00.<\/p>\n
