The Seeing Lab is a course to learn how to detect and read micro-expressions, small contractions of the
\nfacial muscles that last only tenths of a second, but give a window into what someone is feeling.<\/p>\n

Ever talk with someone & get the feeling that there’s something more they want to say? Maybe they said
\nthey were happy, but you noticed a tint of sadness. Or maybe they said were mad, and you noticed a hint of
\nhappiness.<\/p>\n

In this course we’ll use imaging software, the same kind used for training detectives and members of secret
\nservices, to do a pretest of your people-reading abilities. 2.5 hours later, your post-test scores will show you
\nhow much you’ve learned. Are you a natural at reading expressions? In this course you’ll find out.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Results:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span>By learning how to notice and read facial & body micro-expressions, you’ll become more compassionate,
\naware & intuitive. You will notice the beauty of mixed emotions and feel a big boost in your ability to cut
\nthrough the clutter to figure out what truly matters to your conversation partner.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span>This lab is based on Dr. LeeAnn Renninger’s research on memory and the 5 senses, Paul Ekman’s
\nresearch on facial expressions, Karl Grammer’s research on movement cues. There is a follow-up course
\navailable for advanced learners.<\/p>\n
