The Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Benefit Concert for Japan from 9PM to\u00a011PM on Fri, 4\/15\/2011 at Kenny’s Castaways.<\/p>\n

NYC Musicians get together on Friday April 15, 2011 at Kenny’s Castaways (157 Bleecker Street, NYC) for a Benefit Concert to support the great disaster relief in Japan.<\/p>\n

Opening the concert is charismatic Japanese Rock singer Key Appleseeds, followed by Passion Project, a band that creates a dramatic, passionate sound with the addition of classical stringed instruments. Ioana Vintu, Phil Reeves and Billy Asai from critically acclaimed R&B band, Ioana & Soulshine, “a blend of popularity and\u00a0 originality” will also be performing, as well as special Guest Singer\/Rapper Taiyo Na, a new young leader in the Asian-American music scene. Recently his song “Home:Word” reached #2 on the Japan download charts with the band Magnetic North. Team Japan NYC also includes Shije, Jeff Formosa, John Seetoo and Jun Suenaga, who is also the MC for the event.<\/p>\n
