AsianInNY<\/strong> will exhibit at the 32nd Annual Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Festival to celebrate Asian Arts, Cuisine, and Community and Culture.\u00a0 Thanks to Onassis<\/strong><\/a> and Cohesion Freight<\/strong><\/a>, we will have “limited”<\/span><\/strong> designer t-shirts and bags for our AsianInNY supporters at our booth (booth 22x).\u00a0 One per person, first come and first serve.\u00a0 (At 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, few items will be given out, please bring a copy of this page! )<\/p>\n

More than 20,000 visitors are expected for an impressive line-up of performances, fun activities for children and adults alike, and savory samples of Asian cuisine. Numerous Asian American organizations will be present to inform visitors about useful services, volunteer opportunities, and resources to get involved in the community.<\/p>\n

Attendees can expect riveting performances from:
\n– Opening ceremony<\/strong> by Color Guard and Lion Dance.<\/p>\n

– Emcees<\/strong> by Ti-Hua Chang, Richard Lui, CeFaan Kim, Michelle Yu, Kelly Tsai, Jen Kwok and Tom Tung Cheng.<\/p>\n

– Music performances<\/strong> by Hsu-nami, PaperDoll, Dana Leong ft. Le Zhang, Nuf Said, Nina Sophia Mojares, and Reni Mimura.<\/p>\n

– Dance presentation<\/strong>s by Polynesian Dance, New York Chinese Cultural Center, Bollywood Axion Dance, and Yosakoi Dance.<\/p>\n

– Martial arts demonstrations<\/strong> by the Chinese Freemason Athletic Club, Kyakkokan Dojo, Blue Dragon TKD Demo Team, World Martial Arts Center, Asian United Sports Club, Moy Ving Tsung, City Wing Tsun Kung Fu and Gao\u2019s Kung Fu Academy.<\/p>\n

– Appearances<\/strong> by Soh Daiko, critically acclaimed taiko group, specializing in Japanese drumming technique and other unique instruments. Also performing will be the Kaoru Watanabe Taiko Center and Taikoza.<\/p>\n

– Magic shows <\/strong>by Ronald McDonald and Rich Kameda.<\/p>\n
