Volunteer for Citizenship Drive<\/p>\n
This is a great opportunity for young professionals to network with immigration attorneys, community activists, and students! OCA-NY, a non-profit organization, is holding a citizenship-training day to educate immigrants in the Flushing community on why it is so important to
\nbecome a citizen. Immigration lawyers will provide assistance on a pro-bono basis to help review applications for citizenship. Volunteers are needed to help at the event, help translate and help lawful permanent residents fill out citizenship applications.<\/p>\n
As this event is in Flushing, we’ll meet up in Manhattan first before going to Flushing.<\/p>\n
