IW Group Inc. , an award-winning Asian-American advertising and PR agency serving some of the country\u2019s leading Fortune 500 companies, is looking for an outstanding Senior Media Planner\/Media Supervisor to join our team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with an energetic team that specializes in offering strategic and creative solutions to address our clients\u2019 focus on Asian American consumer needs. <\/p>\n
The opening is located in our New York office.<\/p>\n
The senior media planner\/media supervisor will be\u00a0the day-to-day lead on various assigned accounts.\u00a0 The candidate will be expected to have a solid understanding of the client\u2019s overall business and marketing objectives and will provide strategic recommendations to the senior media team and\/or the client.\u00a0 The senior media planner\/media supervisor is also required to assist with various regional client programs and events that are implemented by the NY office.<\/p>\n
The key areas of responsibilities include:\u00a0 developing media objectives and strategies; identifying media partner\/program selections and rationale; exploring, evaluating and sometimes, creating<\/em> new media opportunities and writing POVs; developing media RFPs engaging in media negotiations; developing buying strategies to maximize media dollars; preparing media flowcharts and media buy authorizations; issuing insertion orders and keeping abreast of all invoice and media billing issues.<\/ins><\/p>\n <\/ins><\/p>\n Candidates must be detail-oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills.\u00a0 We seek a person with an outgoing personality with a proactive approach to client relationships.\u00a0 The ideal candidate will be creative, open to new ideas, and an active contributor and collaborator on the broader account team.\u00a0 A bachelor\u2019s degree is required and at least 4 years of media planning\/buying experiences.\u00a0 Strong MS Office skills and understanding of all media disciplines (including traditional and non-traditional and digital) a must.\u00a0 Candidates must be familiar with the Asian media environment in the U.S., and the ability to speak\/write another Asian language is a big plus.<\/p>\n
