Staged at the historical Avalon Hotel and shot during a live and unscripted, un-staged cocktail party, Lee\u2019s four minute film produces a lush look at how a modern Robin Hood gang of women uses their wiles, beauty and seductive charm to right the wrongs in the fashion, film and modeling industries.<\/p>\n
Using live shooting techniques and exquisite editing and sharp color focus, Lee creates a pulsating meditation on the Haves and the Have Mores.<\/p>\n
Says Lee about his kinetic meditation on the nouveau-riche: \u201dAs an LA native, I wanted to show the luxury and glamour that LA has to offer. \u2018The Madame\u2019 is a short film about fashion, power, and beauty. I chose to shoot it at the Avalon Hotel because of its mid-century modern architecture and historical significance.
