Main responsibility:
\nNetCom Learning seeks a hard working web developer in creating custom and innovative websites with a focus on front-end web application development. The developer would be responsible for collaborating on development projects (including working with a back end developer) ranging from custom PHP-based applications, mobile and social applications, and open-source and other third party systems integrations.<\/p>\n
Working on-site full time at our midtown office is required for the position.<\/p>\n
Qualifications that we look for:
\n\u2022 Experience creating pixel-perfect front-end builds from layered PSD and\/or Illustrator files
\n\u2022 Expertise in HTML(5), PHP and CSS a must
\n\u2022 Experience with AJAX and Javascript
\n\u2022 Experience with developing WordPress
\n\u2022 Experience with responsive CSS grids and dynamic layouts
\n\u2022 Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
\n\u2022 Mobile development experience a plus
\n\u2022 Social application development (i.e. Facebook apps) a plus
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of the project management processes, including accurately estimating workload and time
\n\u2022 Experience in prioritizing a heavy workload and the ability to meet and exceed deadlines with
\naccuracy and minimum supervision
\n\u2022 Excellent written and communications skills
\n\u2022 Professional, friendly demeanor with extremely strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
\n\u2022 Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
\n\u2022 Ability to confidently discuss the use of current and emergent web technologies
\n\u2022 High energy, self-motivated team player with a great attitude
\n\u2022 Experience at a digital agency a plus
\n\u2022 Bachelor’s degree required
\n\u2022 High productivity, dynamic, straightforward and honest team player with strong work ethics, positive energy and enthusiasm
