Sadly, his life was cut short when he was just 19 years old, following weeks of constant mistreatment and discrimination by his superiors while stationed in Afghanistan. Support our friend at <a href=\"http:\/\/oca-ny.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">OCA-NY.Org<\/a> for their campaign to send a birthday card to Private Danny Chen!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.asianinny.com\/?attachment_id=18296\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-18296\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18296\" title=\"danny chen\" src=\"http:\/\/www.asianinny.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/danny-chen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"192\" height=\"263\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The community\u2019s response to Danny\u2019s tragic death has continuously secured more just outcomes in his case. Most recently, it was announced that any court-martial of the 8 soldiers charged in connection to Danny\u2019s death would take place in the US at Fort Bragg, NC. Justice has yet to be served, however, and we need your help with the next step:<\/p>\n<p>1) Create a birthday card for Private Danny Chen.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You can create your own card, buy a card, or email oca-ny@oca-ny.org for a sample template. Be as creative as you can!<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The messages on these cards should reflect our continued fight for justice and reiterate our demand that the courts-martial of the 8 individuals take place on U.S. soil.<\/p>\n<p>2) Mail your card to OCA-NY, P.O. BOX 3233, Church Street Station, New York, NY 10008.
