For the opportunity to be involved with the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Volunteer Program, please email your resume and cover letter to: MBFW_Volunteers@imgworld.com<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Volunteer roles will include:<\/p>\n<p>Runway Venue Preparation<br \/>\nDesigner Guest Ushers<br \/>\nBackstage Assistance and Set Up<br \/>\nAssemble Gift Bags and Press Kits<br \/>\nHelp maintain the main event Information Desk<br \/>\nAssist in the Volunteer Center<br \/>\nVarious other tasks for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Staff<\/p>\n<p>The IMG Fashion Volunteer program is an opportunity available to adults 18 years of age or older. Volunteers should be able to provide their own transportation and housing for the duration of their stay.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, duties performed by volunteers vary, however there are not currently volunteer roles for stylists, dressers, photographers, models or DJs.<\/p>\n<p>Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is a private invitation-only event. Invitations are distributed by individual designers and not by IMG Fashion.<\/p>\n<p>All resumes must be received by 5pm July 6, 2012 in order to considered for the Spring 2013 Collections, taking place September 6-13, 2012 in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Selected candidates will be screened via a brief interview in New York City the week of July 16, 2012.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This event represents what the cutting edge fashion events industry is all about and will be a great experience for anyone interested in a career in events, fashion, media or marketing.
