This summer\u2019s matches promise to be among the most exciting in the sport of polo. Some of the world&#8217;s greatest equestrian athletes will compete for one of the sport&#8217;s most treasured prizes.<\/p>\n<p>A polo match lasts about 2 hours and is divided into 6 timed periods called chukkers. The object of the game is to hit the ball down the field and through the goal posts to score.
