Position Description:
\nThe Market Risk Department IT organization provides support to the Market Risk Department in measuring, analyzing, and reporting the market risk profile of the firm.
\n– The Business Analyst will work on a variety of Market Risk Department\u2019s projects. Responsibilities will include:
\n\u2022 Liaison between the Business and IT teams
\n\u2022 Defining Business requirements
\n\u2022 Issues management\/resolution
\n\u2022 Ensuring technical specifications meet the needs of the business
\n\u2022 Preparation of project plans and walk through of project deliverables
\n\u2022Oversight of application deployment\/implementation
\n\u2022Troubleshoot issues, solving independently or escalating to development team
\n\u2022Proactively identify new opportunities and act on them, including identifying automation opportunities
\n\u2022Maintain and continuously improve control procedures<\/p>\n

Skills Required:
\nMust have experience in pricing and risk management systems for Derivative Products; should have strong knowledge of Market Risk concepts
\n\u20224-5yrs experience in a financial services industry
\n\u2022Strong knowledge of Market Risk or Derivative Products
\n\u2022Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
\n\u2022Experience with relational database schemas and SQL
\n\u2022Excellent presentation skills including oral and written communication skills
\n\u2022Full life-cycle project experience (analysis->implementation) desired
\n\u2022Strong analytic and problem solving skills
\n\u2022Personable, able to interface with senior management in Business and IT, as well as technical colleagues
