The Art of Japan (www.ajkanazawa.com) is a multilabel company based in Japan representing Japanese artisans and designers. They are opening retail space in Nolita, NYC and are seeking both wholesale and retail sales interns, marketing\/PR\/social media interns. <\/p>\n

Responsibilities:
\nMarketing\/PR Intern
\nResearch and create content for social media content
\nUpdate company social media platforms (twitter, facebook, pinterest, tumblr)
\nReach out to editors, bloggers, media to create exposure
\nExtensive communication with the sales team and store
\nProject research for new media ventures for the company
\nAssist in promoting Store events (trunk shows, special events, fashion shows)
\nAssist on photo shoots and production for marketing and email invitations<\/p>\n
Sales Intern:
\nTelemarketing
\nMaintain Extensive Client Database
\nOrganize weekly sales meeting materials
\nTrade show preparation and assistance
\nCustomer Service<\/p>\n
