JOB DESCRIPTION:
\nNursing Home Billing Manager
\nIf you are a great Medical Billing Manager with Nursing Home experience, please read on!
\nA well established Residential Healthcare Facility in New York is looking to hire a Billing Manager.<\/p>\n

What you’ll be doing:
\nYou will be responsible for the overall function of the Accounts Receivable, Billing and Admissions department for the Nursing Home<\/p>\n

What you need:
\n– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance or related field
\n– 5 years of Medical Billing experience in Nursing home
\n– Hands on experience with computerized billing systems- preferably ADL Windows billing system
\n– Strong computer skills including MS Office, and knowledge of the Emedny\/Epaces and Omnipro
\n– Knowledge of NAMI, Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and related third party carrier billing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
\n– Ability to process claims efficiently, submit Medicaid applications on time, submit applications to HRA, follow up on denials and discrepancies as necessary<\/p>\n
