Major Responsibilities:
\nThis position works with the editorial and marketing groups at W.H. Freeman on the development and launch of new products in new and emerging courses, as well as established markets in which we are trying to gain market share.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include:
\n\u2022\tPreparation and management of all pilot and class-test initiatives
\n\u2022\tSetting up, conducting, and summarizing the results of focus groups
\n\u2022\tMarket research (including the creation, distribution, and analysis of CRM campaigns)
\n\u2022\tCreation and maintenance of CRM files
\n\u2022\tCreation and management of review panels
\n\u2022\tMarket research and development seminars before publication of book
\n\u2022\tExtensive interaction with our customers and sales force <\/p>\n

Required Skills \/ Knowledge:
\n\u2022\tStrong communication (including writing), collaboration, and training skills
\n\u2022\tThe ability to balance big-picture creative skills with day-to-day management of multiple projects
\n\u2022\tSuperior planning and implementation skills
\n\u2022\tAbility to work with technology (including WebEx) to conduct focus groups and other forms of market research <\/p>\n

Experience Needed:
\n\u2022\tA minimum of two years of experience in sales, marketing, editorial, or market research, preferably in college markets.
\n\u2022\tEducational publishing experience in general is preferred. <\/p>\n

Educational Background Required:
