Position Overview
\nThe Marketing Finance Manager will be based in the New York Office and report directly to the VP of Finance, with a dotted reporting line to the SVP of Marketing. <\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Specific activities within this position include:<\/p>\n

\u2022\tActing as a key finance liaison with Marketing teams. Partnering with Marketing teams to develop medium term & annual plans, reconcile those plans to the overall financial targets, monitor performance, and quantify risks & opportunities vs. those plans
\n\u2022\tDriving line-item management process to include (a) spend estimation by program; (b) PO creation (c) invoice coding & processing; and (d) payment confirmation
\n\u2022\tDeveloping, tracking, updating & monthly reporting of budget and LE’s
\n\u2022\tGuiding proper phasing of dollars to track volume phasing as a risk mitigation process
\n\u2022\tDeveloping template for and communicating tracking system for 3rd Party suppliers
\n\u2022\tDeveloping business processes and tools to provide accurate, consistent and timely reporting and analysis on business performance – including data management, development\/execution of management reporting tools
\n\u2022\tParticipating in \/conducting cross-functional business reviews to track and communicate financial performance including risks and opportunities vs. plan
\n\u2022\tEvaluating and presenting to senior management findings\/recommendations on program initiatives\/opportunities\/risks through scenario modeling and other financial analysis
\n\u2022\tProviding monthly portfolio add-up and tracking to ensure confidence in overall budget
\n\u2022\tManaging of ringfence release at key periods of the year
\n\u2022\tLeading re-class of incorrectly-coded marketing charges
\n\u2022\tManaging of agency contract terms, reconciliation against work plan & payments<\/p>\n

Key Relationships<\/p>\n

In this role, the Marketing Finance Manager partners with the HQ Marketing, Field Marketing and Commercial teams to deliver financial commitments and drive profitable growth.<\/p>\n

Knowledge\/Experience Requirements<\/p>\n

Candidates must possess a combination of the following:<\/p>\n

\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting or a related field s required
\n\u2022\tMinimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis
\n\u2022\tWine\/spirits and\/or consumer products experience is a plus
