Onassis Clothing is an American-inspired collection rooted in European styling and fit, and uniquely handcrafted with Japanese techniques.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\u2022 Assist Operations, Marketing and Accounting Managers in day-to-day administrative duties.
\n\u2022 Spend part of the week shadowing\/helping the VP on various projects and appointments.
\n\u2022 Learn first-hand what it takes to operate a startup business.
\n\u2022 Manage traffic of incoming and outgoing samples sent to press contacts.
\n\u2022 Assist with in-store event planning: brainstorm themes, manage guest lists and maintain vendor relationships.
\n\u2022 Work with retail and ecommerce teams to develop new marketing efforts and create marketing tools.
\n\u2022 Develop content and contribute to social media outlets.
\n\u2022 Learn how to use POS software to assist in inventory management and sales report generation.
\n\u2022 Learn about retail math, gain Excel skills and make beautiful spreadsheets.
\n\u2022 Prepare expense reports, purchase orders and invoices; learn how to process accounts payables and receivables.
\n\u2022 Basic office manager responsibilities: supply orders, answering phones, business errands and office organization.
\n\u2022 Participate in weekly sales meetings with department managers. <\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:
\n\u2022 Must currently be a student or a recent graduate from a competitive university.
\n\u2022 Must have prior retail experience; menswear a plus.
\n\u2022 Must show interest in fashion and business (i.e. through classes taken, extracurricular activities, past jobs and actual in-person interview).
\n\u2022 Must feel comfortable and be able to thrive in a less structured, start-up environment.
\n\u2022 Hardworking, focused and self-motivated; must be able to operate with minimal supervision.
\n\u2022 Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
\n\u2022 A positive, outgoing, high-energy, entrepreneurial personality.
\n\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google email.
\n\u2022 Experience with Adobe Illustrator and graphic design coursework a plus.<\/p>\n
COMPENSATION:
\n\u2022 $75\/per day<\/p>\n
