(Taiko demonstrations will begin at 2 pm and 3 pm.) There will be many traditional New Year\u2019s activities for children, including rice pounding (mochi-tsuki), special New Year\u2019s calligraphy (kakizome), kite-making\/flying (takoage) and funny face game (fukuwarai).
