The Director – Denim & Casual Wovens, Women’s Design is a leadership position responsible for creating original concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as a result of identifying the direction of and interpreting fashion trends.<\/p>\n

Essential tasks include:
\n\u2022\tResponsibility for several product lines including Denim and Casual Wovens
\n\u2022\tOverseeing a team of designers and all aspects of product development
\n\u2022\tManaging product from raw materials to finish
\n\u2022\tManaging relationships with cross-functional partners
\n\u2022\tInfluentially making seasonal presentations to cross-functional partners
\n\u2022\tLeading, hiring, evaluating and developing Design team members within area
\n\u2022\tDeveloping a Denim range from core to fashion
\n\u2022\tExecuting well-practiced global sourcing methods and will include overseas travel
\n\u2022\tResponsibility for branding and garment marketing<\/p>\n

Mandatory Knowledge, Skill & Abilities Requirements:
\n\u2022\tBachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
\n\u2022\t10-15 years of design experience with exposure to Denim and Casual Woven product lines
\n\u2022\tStrong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
\n\u2022\tElevated taste level and fashion sense within the context of the brand
\n\u2022\tAbility to identify and incorporate trends into clothing lines
\n\u2022\tAbility to work independently and lead a team
\n\u2022\tStrong computer skills<\/p>\n
