Comprised of New York City-based duo Alexis Georgopoulos and Max Ravitz, the group incorporates elements of underground dance music through analog synthesizers and drum machines. Supporting MASKS, one of the most enigmatic artists on the L.I.E.S. roster, Terekke (aka Matt Gardner) makes subliminal, dub–influenced, tape hiss–fueled basement house.

Free and open to the public, the NY Art Book Fair is the world’s premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines. Last year, the fair featured 283 booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers from twenty-six countries, and was attended by more than 25,000 people.

Hours and Location
Friday, September 20, 12–7 pm
Saturday, September 21, 11 am–9 pm
Sunday, September 22, 11 am–7 pm

For more information, please go:
http://nyartbookfair.com/about

Saturday, September 21, 2013, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM MoMA PS1 22-25 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101

[13

post-34072","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-stay-connected-to-the-latest-local-events
["GET
