Our client, a prestigious Luxury Goods Retailer<\/strong><\/em>, is seeking a Senior Accountant<\/strong><\/em> to join their NYC based accounting team.<\/p>\n

Job Details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Manage the monthly close process with little supervision<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Perform all corresponding Journal Entries<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Perform G\/L analysis, accruals and percentage rent accruals<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Perform fixed asset accounting and budget vs. actual reporting<\/span><\/p>\n

Job Requirements<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 3-5 years Accounting experience in the retail industry is required<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience in Luxury Good industry is preferred<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Must have very strong G\/L accounting experience<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Must be able to manage the monthly close process without assistance<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficiency with MS Excel, WORD and PowerPoint<\/span><\/p>\n

Base salary to $65K<\/strong><\/p>\n
