Skills required:
\n\u2022BS in Accounting or Finance
\n\u20224-7 years of Accounting or Finance experience
\n\u2022Ability to analyze data in a complex environment, with numerous interconnected flows of information
\n\u2022Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint, to design spreadsheets, graphs, waterfalls, and reports
\n\u2022Good written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022Ability to work within a team environment.<\/p>\n

Education: Bachelors
\nExperience: 6-9 years
\nDescription:
\nAmerican International Underwriters (AIU) has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst in our Downtown NYC offices.<\/p>\n

The position will be responsible for supporting the management reporting department and regulatory and technology restructure efforts of the Foreign Insurance division in addition to performing:
\n\u2022Variance analysis and income statement performance
\n\u2022Prepare business financial models; waterfalls, flowcharts, presentations, variance analyses
\n\u2022Utilize issue resolution techniques and apply problem solving techniques
\n\u2022Develop and analyze business requirements applicable to corporate reporting and business processes
\n\u2022Prepare a monthly status report to inform senior management of progress and major problems and recommended corrective action<\/p>\n
