The firm seeks to hire an Assistant Controller to oversee financial reporting at the firm.  In general the role will involve month and year end close, staff supervision, audit compliance, budgeting, forecasting and other ad-hoc duties.  In specific, our client is looking for a very hands-on type of personality who will be comfortable in a smaller office environment.  Candidates will be asked to supervise and mentor a staff of three to five and will be involved with policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities Include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tOperate as a senior client contact, lead strategic and tactical online planning activities<br \/>\n\u2022\tParticipate in \u2013 and in most cases lead \u2013 client presentations<br \/>\n\u2022\tAct as client advocate internally and the agency\u2019s advocate to clients<br \/>\n\u2022\tSet realistic client expectations and make every effort to exceed them<br \/>\n\u2022\tWork with a talented group of Project Managers to maintain project status, budgets and develop Statements of Work and proposal documents<br \/>\n\u2022\tSeek business opportunities through existing client relationships<br \/>\n\u2022\tActively participate in new business planning and related presentations<\/p>\n<p>Job Requirements: <\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tFinancial services experience, preferred but not required<br \/>\n\u2022\tProven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors<br \/>\n\u2022\tDemonstrated ability in developing and successfully executing plans for interactive projects including an ability to oversee projects from conception to completion<br \/>\n\u2022\tExperience in large-scale site development, online advertising, e-mail marketing, and interactive creative development\/branding<br \/>\n\u2022\tProven knowledge of creative pre-testing as well as ongoing creative testing, measurement and optimization<br \/>\n\u2022\tExperience in new business planning, development and presentations<br \/>\n\u2022\t5 to 7 years relevant experience, 3 to 4 of which must be in an interactive agency environment<br \/>\n\u2022\tBachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Company: The Forum Group Job Category: Accounting and Finance Job Title: Assistant Controller Location: Woodhaven, NY 11421 Job Description: Our client is a well established, profitable and stable organization offering growth potential and quality of life.
