As a result of our business growth strategy, we have initiated a search for a career-motivated and professional Accounts Payable\/Bookkeeping Coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>Job Requirement<br \/>\n\u2022\tVerifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents, such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts<br \/>\n\u2022\tReconciles and balances accounts following GAAP guidelines<br \/>\n\u2022\tSummarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfers data to general ledger<br \/>\n\u2022\tVarious Company required tax forms and reports<br \/>\n\u2022\tReviews invoices, check requests and prepares for processing<br \/>\n\u2022\tSorts and matches invoices and check requests<br \/>\n\u2022\tSets invoices up for payment<br \/>\n\u2022\tInput check requests and match invoices to purchase orders<br \/>\n\u2022\tPrepares and processes accounts payable checks, wire transfers and ACH payments<br \/>\n\u2022\tReconciliation of payments<br \/>\n\u2022\tMonitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date<br \/>\n\u2022\tResolves invoice discrepancies<br \/>\n\u2022\tVendor file maintenance<br \/>\n\u2022\tCorresponds with vendors and respond to inquiries<br \/>\n\u2022\tAssists in month-end and year-end closing<br \/>\n\u2022\tOther duties and special projects as assigned.<\/p>\n<p>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS<br \/>\nAWESCO provides a professional work environment and a generous compensation package that includes salary, bonus and benefits.
