Now in our third season, LIC Concerts features 5 concerts showcasing 14 unique Long Island City based musicians sponsored by more than 20 local businesses.<\/p>\n

Wishes and Thieves, an electronic induced pop band will be performing at LIC Concerts on August 31, 2014.<\/p>\n

The band features members Jolanda Porter, Mike MacAllister, Joe Higgins, and Will Clark. Nathan Leigh writes of their 2012 album \u201cGo\u201d: \u201cWe\u2019ve been digging Wishes and Thieves since hearing their Forest Fire EP in 2012. Their unique mix of driving beats and ethereal melodies makes the quartet\u2019s music absolutely irresistible. And because resistance is futile, we\u2019re psyched to bring you the premiere of their latest single \u201cGo.\u201d [on AfroPunk].<\/p>\n
