Mark your calendars for January 28, 29 and 30, when you will be fighting the crowds to get a seat at this unique event at The Old Bowery Station. New York culinary entrepreneur and founder of Outer Borough — Carson Yiu is serving up an exclusive menu and will be pumping out instant ramen and traditional Taiwanese Shaved Ice. As Yiu so elegantly puts it, this pop-up “is about me bullshitting before Smorgasburg’s opening day.” In a good way.<\/p>\n

He will only be serving the original Nissin Chicken Flavored Ramen with all the “bad for you” fix-ins and Shaved Ice a la The Shaved Ice Shop style with red beans, fried mantou with sweetened condensed milk and more. You will not be able to order Outer Borough’s infamous scallion pancake rolls on these three evenings. You can’t make any reservations here so for your waiting-in-the-cold-pleasure: Wednesday night’s service will begin at 6 p.m. and we might sell out Friday night, so get it! CASH ONLY!<\/p>\n
