On this occasion a live concert WITH LOVE to Hiroshima and Nagasaki: A Concert for Disarmament will be held. The performers and guests include the Choir for Hibakusha (victims of atomic bombs) &#8220;Sunflower&#8221;, the choir team of Fiorello H. La Guardia High School, DJ Spooky and Sam Sadigursky with hibakusha Setsuko Thurlow, Keiko Sasamori and Yasuaki Yamashita. Also, Masaaki Tanokura, Concertmaster of Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, will play \u201cHibaku Violin\u201d that survivied the A-bomb in Hiroshima. Produced by Youth Arts New York\u2019s Hibakusha Stories Initiative and the New York Society for Ethical Culture in collaboration with Peace Boat US, the concert celebrates the activities of atomic bomb victims for world peace and aims to promote disarmament and non proliferation of nuclear weapons.<br \/>\nAn evening of music and spoken word hosted by Clifton Truman Daniel, grandson of US President Harry S Truman, and featuring:<\/p>\n<p>The Hibakusha Choir, Himawari with Fiorello LaGuardia High School for Music and Art &amp; the Performing Arts Music Theory Choir<br \/>\nEco philosopher and Buddhist scholar Joanna Macy<br \/>\nBrooklyn-based composer and musician Jean Rohe<br \/>\nMulti-reedist and composer Sam Sadigursky<br \/>\nDJ Spooky with a sneak preview of Peace Symphony: 8 Stories<br \/>\nDisarmament Educator Kathleen Sullivan<br \/>\nMasaaki Tanokura, concertmaster of the Osaka Symphony, playing the Hiroshima Jogakuin hibaku (atomic bomb survived) violin<br \/>\nPoet Anne Waldman with Fast Speaking Music<br \/>\nAtomic bomb survivors Setsuko Thurlow, Shigeko Sasamori and Yasuaki Yamashita<br \/>\ndirected by: Linda S.
