At the end of 2009, five singers came together and started Voco Novo A Cappella Group, with the goal to create new sound and collaborate with interdisciplinary Taiwanese artists. “Voco Novo” literally means “New Voices;” we hope to touch our audience’s hearts with the music we create.

Voco Novo performs regularly at Taiwan’s first and only A Cappella café, A House, frequently garnering awards from many A Cappella festivals and competitions. Outside of Taiwan, the group also tours abroad in places like Korea, Hong Kong, China, Austria, Germany, and Sweden. Combining artistic disciplines helps Voco Novo create unique and exciting music. In December 2011, the theater-a-cappella show “Earth Songs” was produced, premiering in Taipei, Taiwan. This signaled the start of a new vision for a cappella music in Asia. In 2013, the singers joined a Taiwanese original musical production as singers and actors, which brought the group to even greater heights.
