Glacial ice fragments float in a lagoon near the Atlantic ocean, their shifting light and colors shaped by wind, temperature and water. Real-time movement and dissolution in nature is experienced through a non-verbal narrative of imagery and sound. Perlman’s field recordings of melting ice comprise the soundtrack designed in collaboration with Steven Dye. Dispersion is a meditation on the fragility of memory and matter, and loss in the human and natural worlds.

More information at: http://www.nordicfilmfest.org/schedule/

Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 01 Scandinavian House 58 Park Ave, New York, NY 10016

[13

post-58041","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-stay-connected-to-the-latest-local-events
["GET
