On April 29, Columbia University will host one of Indonesia’s most acclaimed writers, Leila S. Chudori, to discuss the significance of and renewed attention on 1965 and what it means for Indonesia’s struggling but vibrant democracy. Ms. Chudori will also talk about her own writing and how it fits in Indonesia’s developing political scene.<\/p>\n
Leila S. Chudori is one of Indonesia’s leading writers and journalists. Her latest novel, Home, has been published in English by Deep Vellum.
