Get hands-on experience with Chinese instruments.<br \/>\nThroughout Chinese civilization, a rich musical culture flourished along the southern banks of the Yangtze River. Beginning in the Tang dynasty, the pipa traveled along the Silk Road from northwest China. When the pipa reached the Jiangnan region, its unique timbre blended with melodious southern music.
