New York, NY, February 23, 2010 \u2014 Designer Jade Chiu announces the launch of her website, featuring her new line of accessories that update themes of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals. On February 25th, The New York Times will feature her in their Fashion &amp; Style section.<\/p>\n

Taiwan-native Chiu, who studied at FIT and Parson\u2019s School of Design, has worked with Anna Sui, L.A.M.B., Diane Von Furstenburg, and contributed accessory designs for BabyPhat. This month marks her first independent foray as she unleashes her wild fusion of ancient Eastern culture in sexy Western fashion. The result is twelve sets of sensual accessories\u2014one for each zodiac animal, plus a special edition for the start of the Year of the Tiger\u2014that include belts, hair accessories, bracelets, racy accents, and more. Each mini-collection is designed around an animal character she developed with distinct personalities, muses, networks, styles, and playthings.<\/p>\n

Fur, skin, feathers, chains and crystal mingle in an alchemic expression of feministic individualism. The line\u2019s sexiness is impossible to ignore: there are bondage-style spiked bracelets, collars, and a mask-shaped headpiece.
