The world\u2019s largest travel site, TripAdvisor, has revealed airlines as a brand-new Travelers\u2019 Choice Awards category and honored EVA Air with two distinctions, \u201cTop 10 Major Airline in Asia Pacific\u201d and \u201cBest Airline \u2013 Taiwan.\u201d TripAdvisor honored the world\u2019s top carriers based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings gathered over a 12-month period for airlines worldwide. TripAdvisor recognized 50 airlines from five regions, Europe, North America, Latin America, Middle East\/Africa and Asia Pacific. The site covers major, low-cost and regional airlines. EVA earned its position among the honorees as the sole winner in Taiwan and a standout in the Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n

EVA is one of only nine airlines worldwide to earn SKYTRAX\u2019s 5-Star rating for the highest global quality. SKYTRAX, Travel + Leisure and AirlineRatings.com have ranked it among the world\u2019s Top-10 Best International Airlines. SKYTRAX also scored EVA as the Best Airline Transpacific and, based on traveler feedback, as the world\u2019s third Most Loved Airline. AirlineRatings counted EVA Air\u2019s Economy Class and Elite premium economy both among the top-10 best-of-the-best worldwide for 2017. EVA\u2019s Elite Class, introduced in 1992 as one of the world\u2019s very first premium economy cabins, was Best or Second-Best Premium Economy Class in SKYTRAX\u2019s annual poll three years in a row.
