Seeking: No-Fault Collectors, Worker’s Comp Collectors and Billers for immediate hire!!<\/p>\n
Extensive experience required in Workers Compensation and No Fault<\/p>\n
Knowledge of medical terminology \u2013 CPT, Modifiers and ICD-10<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
Communicate with insurance carriers on all accounts past 30 days for follow-up on denials, incorrect payments, and past due accounts
\nTake appropriate action on delayed claims by responding to a payer\u2019s request for additional verification in a timely manner
\nResubmit claims and file appeals as required
\nAbility to review, evaluate and settle
\nProvide accurate information, supporting documentation, and effective communication to complete recovery process.
\nTrack fee schedules and insurance denials in order to ensure fully allowed reimbursement
\nComplete daily tasks, review of A\/R reports and maintain proper record keeping in patient accounts
\nCollaborate with other team members to improve overall team environment
\nIdentify trends and issues and assists with developing solutions to improve the collection process
\nTrack and manage complex issues that occur, escalating and seeking assistance as needed to solve them
\nPerform other duties as assigned
\nQualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
At least 2 years of previous experience with No-Fault and Workers Comp Collections
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills required
\nAbility to analyze and problem solve
\nKnowledge and understanding of medical terminology, A\/R follow-up, denials and appeals
\nAbility to work under pressure to meet productivity guidelines
\nProfessional demeanor required
\nAbility to work independently and efficiently
\nUnderstanding of NY No Fault & WC Regulations
\nKnowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
\nKnowledge of HIPAA guidelines and compliance
