Blue Nile is looking for a Diamond and Jewelry Consultant who is eager for an exciting opportunity to join our retail Webroom. The ideal candidate speaks Mandarin & understands the white glove culture and has a passion to educate customers about jewelry purchases. A Diamond and Jewelry Consultant at Blue Nile is outgoing, passionate and strives to help others. The company\u2019s Customer Service goal is to enhance and grow the brand connection experience for customers. Diamond and Jewelry Consultants do this through being professional, accessible, enthusiastic, and interested in a career that creates a\u201cJeweler for Life\u201d relationship with Blue Nile. This position is located in the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Demonstrate exceptional Customer Service and continually develop your product knowledge to educate customers
\nHelp create and maintain a store culture focused on the customer, enhance the buying experience and build relationships that lead to long term business growth
\nCommunicate the Blue Nile Difference, instilling trust and confidence in our brand
\nProactively follow up on all work requests within Blue Nile\u2019s service level standards
\nEffectively resolve complex customer service challenges, finding solutions which exceed customer expectations
\nCommunicate accurate information and set clear expectations for customers, ensuring an on-brand Blue Nile experience
\nProven aptitude to effectively and efficiently navigate through all computer systems
\nStrong attention to detail and high integrity
\nContinuously maintain excellent attendance and punctuality<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Previous retail sales or customer service experience required
\nJewelry experience a plus but not required
\nMandarin fluency preferred
\nExcellent interpersonal, creative problem solving, organizational and time management skills
\nExcellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
\nAbility to work within deadlines in a fast paced environment
\nStrong computer, typing\/keyboarding and data entry skills
\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time
\nFlexibility and willingness to adjust to scheduling needs, particularly during retail peak seasons
\nAuthorized to work in the U.S.<\/p>\n
