Furthermore, marimba is not only served as a percussion instrument, but also as a melodic solo instrument. You will witness the beautiful transformation of Romantic music \u2013 Nocturne No.1 in B flat Minor by Chopin, as well as Impressionistic music \u2013 Clair de lune by Debussy. The second half of the program focus on Mr. Lin\u2019s three movements\u2019 marimba concerto No.3 \u201cNotre Dame de Paris\u201d for six-mallet marimbist and piano.
