MOCA’s 35th Year Anniversary

The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) is pleased to announce the program for the Annual Legacy Awards Dinner. This year’s gala pays tribute to Icons and Innovators for their philanthropic contributions in the fields of Hollywood motion animation, education, and finance. As the Museum enters its 35th year preserving and presenting the history, heritage, culture and experiences of people of Chinese descent in the United States, the gala is also a celebration of over three decades of commitment to the Chinese American community and its future generations. Over the last 35 years, MOCA has served over a million visitors. Honorees of MOCA’s 2014 Legacy Awards are Tyrus Wong (artist and Disney illustrator of Bambi), Victor and William Fung Foundation Ltd. (educational charity), and Theodore T. Wang (Goldman Sachs and philanthropist). The evening’s Masters of Ceremony are CNBC’s FastMoney host Melissa Lee and actor BD Wong. [Read More]
