Relief aid donations by Taiwan to the Philippines in the wake of Haiyan disaster reach US$6.4 million

As of November 21, 2013, cash and material donations by the Republic of China government, nongovernmental organizations, and other sectors of society to the Philippines in the wake of the Haiyan disaster reached NT$192 million, or approximately US$6.4 million. Super Typhoon Haiyan devastated the central Philippines November 8. Two days later, the ROC government announced that it would donate US$200,000 to the Philippines.
