The 47th annual New Directors/New Films festival, organized jointly by Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), has announced this year’s lineup includes the Taiwanese fresh talent Huang Hsin-yao’s feature debut, THE GREAT BUDDHA+, the latest Taiwanese title to be presented since 1998, when Lin Cheng-sheng’s MURMUR OF YOUTH was invited at the festival. Shifting Momentum: Abstract Art in Taiwan

The Taipei Cultural Center and Taiwan Academy proudly present Shifting Momentum, a world-premiere exhibition curated by Bor-Jou Kuo and Chung-Fan Chang that features abstract paintings and mixed media works by twelve mid-career and established Taiwanese artists. The show, marked the first survey of abstract art exhibition will be on view from March 8th through 30th, 2018.
