Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and consolidate financial statements on a monthly and annual basis
• Coordinate the monthly reporting package for the CFO and CEO
• Prepare revenue reports and analysis
• Oversee accounting and internal controls for revenue and expenses on a daily basis
• Reconciliation of multiple international clearing accounts on a daily basis
• Advise the client billing department on accounting issues
• Monitor clearing account balances and ensure sufficient funds are maintained; record necessary cash entries with related fx gain/loss, if applicable.
• Prepare budgeting and forecasts as it relates to cash management
• Interact with clearing brokers to resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Interface with external Auditors

Experience:

• 5-7 years of general ledger accounting, financial reporting and financial statement experience
• Brokerage or Financial Services accounting experience a plus, but not required
• BA in Accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP
