Over the past five years the Internet has been one of the primary drivers fueling the rise in Chinese creative culture. Access to foreign inspiration, cheap / free digital tools and online collaboration / promotion play a vital role for the new generation of Chinese creative professionals who are creating original visual and musical content that fans and brands are starting to recognize around the world.
Sean Leow and Dave Liang–two Asian Americans who have played a significant part in enabling Chinese creativity and its exposure internationally–will talk about the role of the Internet for Chinese creatives and what trends are leading creative youth culture in China today.
