St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and WaFoo will be hosting a fundraiser for “Japan Earthquake Relief.” All donations will be forwarded to Episcopal Relief and Development, an organization providing aid directly to Japan and offering relief to the suffering victims of this disaster.

Many great local artists from various genres will participate in this event.
(1) Visual Artists & Business for Silent Auction:
Mary Anne Kinsella (Mixed Media), Kristopher Johnson (Photography), Jay Sayer (Graffiti), Michi Yamaguchi (Painting), Hiroko Otani (Calligraphy), Dennis Green (Etching Print), Akira Otani (Photography), Eiko Miyazaki (Ceramic), Kathy Fieramosca (Photography), Virginia Ross (Photography), Joyce Malerba Goldstein (Mixed Media), Jacques Ribs and Grill (Restaurant).

(2) Performing Artists:
Robert Ross (Blues), Queen Tipsy (Jazz & Blues), Mighty String Demons (Classic), Ira Goldstein (Poetry reading), Mikyoung Yun (Organ), Cadre of Two (Pops), WaFoo (Originals).

Food will be donated by Alor Cafe.

Thousand Origami Cranes
One of the featured events will also include “Thousand Origami Cranes,” the audience will have the opportunity to participate in the Japanese custom of folding origami cranes encouraging hope for the suffering. There will be a LEARN HOW TO FOLD ORIGAMI CRANE session during the event.
