During the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week F/W 2011, I got to view the Allegri fashion presentation in the tents and was truly impressed with the new collection, the venue decoration, and of course, also got to enjoy the lovely Italian food. Allegri is an Italian outerwear company that is famous for their chic and functional raincoats.

I was invited to view the new Allegri collection recently and after a trip to Allegri’s midtown showroom, I was amazed with the quality and functionality of the design; yet surprisingly, everything is pragmatically stylish. For example, a coat can be folded into its own pocket like a Longchamp fold-up bag. That’s smart, isn’t it? Besides, the lining, the hood, and the vest can be all detached to create a multi look. Most importantly, Allegri cashmere coats have water-repellent finish and the suede surface of the coats are made to be wrinkle-proofed and most coats are made with lightweight materials. Guess we can all look lovely and chic even during the rainy days!
