Marja Vongerichten, Korean-born actress/model and wife of chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Eric Rhee, New York based food and travel TV producer of “Spain… On The Road Again” and co-founder of KoreanBeacon.com, will discuss the making of their new documentary,The Kimchi Chronicles, on Tuesday, May 3, at 6:30PM at The Korea Society of New York City. The talk will be moderated by David Kim, film director and co-founder and director of the Korean American Film Festival New York (KAFFNY).

The Kimchi Chronicles, scheduled to air this summer on PBS, gives viewers an insider’s look at Korea’s food culture as the hosts travel the country to experience authentic flavors and cultural traditions. Each episode combines cuisine with picturesque travelogue, as food serves as the vehicle to meet and celebrate the people, places, and traditions of Korea. Guest stars include Hugh and Deb Jackman and Heather Graham.
