June 2 · 6:30pm – 8:00pm
The answers lie in understanding and harmonize with the subtle yet universal order that initiates and drives everything in world and in our lives—Tao. Fortunately, the secrets and powers of Tao are not hidden in a remote temple wedged on the mountains of the Himalayas or in the dark matter at the center of the Milky Way. It is elegantly and simply revealed through the poetic prose of Tao Te Ching, one of the most esteemed books of wisdoms in the Eastern culture. Without the aid of organized push by any religion, government or business, Tao Te Ching, an ancient Chinese book composed of merely 5,000 Chinese characters, has leapt across all but the Bibles to become the second most translated book in the history of human civilization.
Come join us for a mind-opening and life-changing discourse on Tao Te Ching to start seeing the wonderful world through the looking glass of Tao. This introductory class will bring you a basic yet encompassing understanding about the philosophies and practices of Tao particularly in context of modern life, and open the mystical gate for you to a life filled with sustainable peace, joy and enlightenment.
