New York Comic Con welcomes professionals across the full spectrum of the pop culture industries and is happy to provide a Professional Pass to artists, buyers, creators, editors, educators, librarians, licensors, producers, publishers, retailers and writers. Professional Passes are good for entry to NYCC’s Professional-Only Hours on Thursday, October 13. Professional Panels will be held from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM and the Show Floor will be open from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Please note: Professional Passes do not guarantee seating and do not include admission into any ticketed Special Events. Special Events tickets must be purchased separately.
Widely considered to be one of the best live performance DJs in history and the “godfather of mash-ups”, noted artist Z-Trip will provide a free evening of entertainment on Thursday, October 13 at 7:30pm for New York Comic Con (NYCC) attendees in the IGN Theater – Presented by Sprint at the Javits Center in New York City. The concert will be an opening night celebration providing music and entertainment for the thousands of fans who will be gathering for this year’s edition of New York Comic Con. The annual pop culture event, which attracts top talent and major artists from all areas of the pop culture universe including film, television, music, books, and gaming will take place October 13 – 16, 2011 at the Javits Center.
The opening night concert is free to all VIP’s and 4-Day ticket holders thanks to the generosity of Sprint’s sponsorship BUT seating is first come, first served and will be extremely limited due to size of the auditorium and popularity of the event. All VIP ticket holders will be guaranteed to get into the show first; then, 4-Day ticket holders will be let in until the auditorium is full; the concert is open to all 4-Day ticket holders on a first come, first served basis and we cannot guarantee that all 4-Day ticket holders that want to attend the show will be able to get in! Fans who are interested in attending the opening night concert are encouraged to purchase a 4 Day ticket to NYCC and arrive early to secure their spot in line.
