We are looking to add several professionals to our Sales Department. Sales professionals at Argyle Executive Forum are ultimately accountable for securing ticket and sponsorship revenue for our portfolio of upcoming confereneces.
Sales professionals must demonstrate the ability to quickly yet thoroughly orient him/herself with conference topics which span industries and specific executive functions. The sales professional is expected to talk and write intelligently about conference topics he/she is selling and be able to articulate major issues / trends in the content area. Communication is to both internal parties as well as external parties regarding what session topics will cover, as well as updating the agendas as necessary as the event comes together.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing the prospecting, research, and sales efforts of 3- 6 annual business events a year with attendance ranging from 100-300 senior level executive attendees
• Serving as Relationship Manager to clients
• Serving as principal liaison with all event speakers, sponsors, vendors, event partners, and Argyle Executive Forum internal staff (attendee marketing, sponsorship sales, research, and event management)
• Preparation and management of event marketing collateral related to content
• May supervise junior staff and/or interns
Qualifications:
• Must have excellent project management skills and be excellent at deadline management and communication
• Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Professional presence
• Proficient in research databases, CRM systems as well as Microsoft Office programs
