BAM
Part of the 2011 Next Wave Festival and BAM 150
Moderated by Rachel Cooper
As part of BAM’s 150 anniversary celebrations, iconic artists examine the evolution of their work at BAM over the years, referencing onscreen projections of original performance footage and images from the BAM Archive.
Since his first performance at BAM in 1995, Lin Hwai-min has seduced audiences for “brilliantly…fusing dance techniques and theatrical concepts from the East and West” (The New York Times). Interacting with original footage from the BAM Archive, Lin expands on his arresting style with Asia Society’s Director of Cultural Programs and Performing Arts, Rachel Cooper.
