Carrie Ann Inaba is currently appearing on Dance Fever (ABC Family) as a preliminary judge and backstage correspondant / coach to the contestants while choreographing the hit reality series “American Juniors” (FOX) produced by the same team who produced the world wide sensation, “American Idol”. Last summer, she was seen co-starring as Fook Yu, the feisty half of the sexy and beautiful Japanese Fook Twins in Austin Powers: Goldmember. She first encountered Mike Myers three years ago in the company of Heather Graham as a Felicity Girl in Austin Powers II: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Carrie Ann, an all around entertainer who started out her career in Japan as a recording pop artist with Pony Canyon Records, landed the prize position as a Fly Girl for three years on Fox’s very popular In Living Color. The attention and acclaim she gained from her stint on In Living Color parlayed her into the spotlight as one of Madonna’s featured dancers in her Girlie Show World Tour, in which she is also credited with the choreography of her famously erotic pole performance. She then went on to dance with Ricky Martin, and appeared in many films and television programs.

Inaba’s choreography credits are impressive and range from various Fox TV’s line up promos to Who Wants to Marry a Multi Millionaire, World Super Model, All American Girl, to America’s Sexiest Bachelor. She will again join the choreography team for the Miss America Pageant in September 2003, a post she has held for the last four years and will also be choreographing Fox’s hit series American Idol.

If acting, choreographing, and dancing were not enough, Carrie Ann also directs, writes and edits digital documentaries and films under the umbrella of her company EnterMediArts Inc. Her digital video credits include E! Behind The Scenes Miss America Special, 7th Festival of the Pacific Arts, A Portrait of IVI and Beyond the Dancing Image. She just completed the independent digital short film, Black Water, about a successful middle-aged man whose life falls apart, which has been invited to the Hawaii Film Festival upon completion. EnterMediArts, Inc., is also producing a new series of Dance Video/DVD’s scheduled for a spring-summer release in 2004.

Carrie Ann is a native of Hawaii with Chinese, Japanese and Irish heritage, and speaks a little Japanese. She studies Tae Kwon Do and practices Yoga regularly. She still writes music and would like to eventually release a cd of her own music.
