A road movie like no other, Drive Me to the Sea is the story of a life-changing chance encounter between nursing student Asumi (Chihiro Otsuka) and Junichi (Yuki Ito). Through a twist of fate, they end up going together on a sentimental journey to the sea. Soon, she notices something odd about the way he walks and talks, eventually coming to the realization that the young man is autistic. Asumi’s trip will change her outlook on life in the most unexpected ways.
